    The Ohio Forages and Grasslands Council Annual Conference will be held February 21, 2020 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Ohio Department of Agriculture in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The Keynote speaker will be Jimmy Henning, Forage Professor, University of KY, who will discuss “Making Good Round Bale Silage” based on extensive research and experience in Kentucky.

    The Buckeye Shepherd’s Symposium takes place on Dec. 13 and 14 at the Shisler Conference Center in Wooster . A celebration of the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association’s 70th Anniversary also will take place.

    The 2019 Heart of America Conference will be held October 29-30, 2019 in Burlington, KY and will focus on Kicking the Hay Habit: Optimizing Profitability. The keynote speaker, Jim Gerrish, is an independent grazing lands consultant providing services to farmers and ranchers on both private and public lands across five continents.
